Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example for you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting of off the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

Prozac

Generic name: Fluoxetine hydrochloride
Why is Prozac prescribed?

Prozac is prescribed for the treatment of depression—that is, a continuing depression that interferes with daily functioning. The symptoms of major depression often include changes in appetite, sleep habits, and mind/body coordination; decreased sex drive; increased fatigue; feelings of guilt or worthlessness; difficulty concentrating; slowed thinking; and suicidal thoughts.

Prozac is also prescribed to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder. An obsession is a thought that won't go away; a compulsion is an action done over and over to relieve anxiety. The drug is also used in the treatment of bulimia (binge-eating followed by deliberate vomiting). It has also been used to treat other eating disorders and obesity.

In addition, Prozac is used to treat panic disorder, including panic associated with agoraphobia (a severe fear of being in crowds or public places). People with panic disorder usually suffer from panic attacks—feelings of intense fear that develop suddenly, often for no reason. Various symptoms occur during the attacks, including a rapid or pounding heartbeat, chest pain, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath.

In children and adolescents, Prozac is used to treat major depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Prozac Weekly is approved for treating major depression.

Under the brand name Sarafem, the active ingredient in Prozac is also prescribed for the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), formerly known as premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Symptoms of PMDD include mood problems such as anxiety, depression, irritability or persistent anger, mood swings, and tension. Physical problems that accompany PMDD include bloating, breast tenderness, headache, and joint and muscle pain. Symptoms typically begin 1 to 2 weeks before a woman's menstrual period and are severe enough to interfere with day-to-day activities and relationships.

Prozac belongs to the class of drugs called selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Serotonin is one of the chemical messengers believed to govern moods. Ordinarily, it is quickly reabsorbed after its release at the junctures between nerves. Re-uptake inhibitors such as Prozac slow this process, thereby boosting the levels of serotonin available in the brain.
Most important fact about Prozac

Serious, sometimes fatal, reactions have been known to occur when Prozac is used in combination with other antidepressant drugs known as MAO inhibitors; and when Prozac is discontinued and an MAO inhibitor is started. Never take Prozac with one of these drugs or within at least 14 days of discontinuing therapy with one of them; and allow 5 weeks or more between stopping Prozac and starting an MAO inhibitor. Be especially cautious if you have been taking Prozac in high doses or for a long time.

In addition, Prozac should never be combined with thioridazine due to the risk of life-threatening drug interactions; and a minimum of 5 weeks should be allowed between stopping Prozac and starting Mellaril.

If you are taking any prescription or nonprescription drugs, notify your doctor before taking Prozac.
How should you take Prozac?

Prozac should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Prozac usually is taken once or twice a day. To be effective, it should be taken regularly. Make a habit of taking it at the same time you do some other daily activity.

It may be 4 weeks before you feel any relief from your depression, but the drug's effects should last about 9 months after a 3-month treatment regimen. For obsessive-compulsive disorder, the full effect may take 5 weeks to appear.

    * If you miss a dose...
Take the forgotten dose as soon as you remember. If several hours have passed, skip the dose. Never try to "catch up" by doubling the dose.

    * Storage instructions...
      Store at room temperature.

What side effects may occur?

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Prozac.

    * Side effects may include:
Abnormal dreams, abnormal ejaculation, abnormal vision, anxiety, diarrhea, diminished sex drive, dizziness, dry mouth, flu-like symptoms, flushing, gas, headache, impotence, insomnia, itching, loss of appetite, nausea, nervousness, rash, sex-drive changes, sinusitis, sleepiness, sore throat, sweating, tremors, upset stomach, vomiting, weakness, yawning

Why should Prozac not be prescribed?

If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to Prozac or similar drugs, you should not take this medication. Make sure that your doctor is aware of any drug reactions that you have experienced.

Do not take this drug while using an MAO inhibitor (see "Most important fact about this drug"). You should also not use Prozac if you are taking thioridazine. Likewise, do not start taking thioridazine within 5 weeks of stopping Prozac. If you need to buy prozac you cand type in your browser our pharmacy http://4rx.com.Have a good day with the right antidepression treatment.

Sanofi-Synthelabo, a French Pharmaceutical Company created Rimonabant (Acomplia and possibly Zimulti) which is a new drug treatment for obesity and possibly other ailments.
This diet pill was officially approved in Britain on June 28th 2006, which could lead the way to having the FDA approve it in the United States by mid summer, 2007.
But no guarantees, The FDA has strick policies regarding new medications on the market. Acomplia (Rimonabant or Zimulti) diet pills offer hope for obese individuals, especially where other treatments had little affect or the side effects where too much to handle. This medication (as any) obviously does not come without some potential side effects.
Rimonabant works differently than other weight-loss pills, and has other potential benefits. Studies also show that it increases levels of HDL (good cholesterol) while at the same time reducing LDL (bad cholesterol). It could also possibly be used for smoking cessation, although not officially approved for that purpose (yet). Basically, Rimonabant suppresses ones appetite.
It works by blocking a cellular receptor in the endocannabinoid system of the brain, believed to influence the regulation of body weight, glucose, and fat metabolism. In doing so it is believed that this regulation then reduces the craving to eat more.

Clinical Studies have shown that 33% of people taking Rimonabant lost 10% of body weight and kept their weight down for two years which is extremely newsworthy as no other diet drug has accomplished this for so long a period.
It also holds huge potential for the people wanting to kick the smoking habit and ‘may’ help curb other substance addictions such as cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol.
While FDA held up Sanofi’s diet drug Rimonabant(Acomplia/Zimulti),the Merck’s MK-0364(Taranbant) is currently in phase-3 which is as effective for weight loss as rimonabant having some side effects.
The interim results of phase-3 trial of Taranabant have not been reported by the Merck. These results could be different from the anecdotal report. In the trial it was found that the weight loss pill was well tolerated in extensive phase-2.The Merck is looking forward FDA approval for it next year.
Pfizer, which also contains CB-1 receptor antagonist in phase-3 trials has not moved forward with a name which is known as CP-945598.
In June, 2007 there will be a meeting of FDA advisory panel on rimonabant about the safety issues of drugs which affect receptors in the brain. There are many online pharmacies related with this article from where you can buy rimonabant and many other weight loss pill

You can find a free blog hosting easily by doing a basic search online. However, the harder part is determining which of the dozens of free blog hosting companies will provide you high-quality service you need.

Since most online companies that offers any kind of free services are usually flooded by members and users, free blog hosting can become a tricky choice. Fortunately, unlike other free internet providers, a free blog hosting can be beneficial to your online success.

In choosing free blog hosting, you have to find a company that can guarantee that they could handle all the web space used by its numerous members. In addition, you also have to determine whether a free blog hosting can handle the traffic that all blogs within its domain generate. Both of these factors could contribute to the level of downtime of your blog site.

Consider the Drawbacks of Free Blog Hosting

A great advantage of free blog hosting is that clients can create a blog and try it out for a couple of days before committing to it full time, without spending a cent. However, you have to watch out for several things when using free blog hosting services.

Most free blog hosting providers rely on advertising for income. Because of this, your blog site will contain unwanted advertisements or banners that are required to place within your site.

Another disadvantage of using free blog hosting is that since you share web space with hundreds of people worldwide, you may not be prioritized when a problem with your blog occurs. This is particularly important when you use your blog for business purposes and need 24/7 online visibility.

Free blog hosting usually provide default templates, interfaces and add-on features for its clients. However, if you intend to make money with blogging and prefer to improve the blog site using a variety of features, a free blog hosting will not be able to provide you with unlimited features.

With a free blog hosting, you will have limited control over the size, look and feel of your blog. If you decide on becoming a professional blogger, adding features can be a problem with free blog hosting.

Although free blog hosting provides great benefits, it also limits a blogger’s control over his or her site. However, because you never had to pay a cent with free blog hosting, you can always look for paid blog hosting that will meet your blogging needs.

By the way friends if you are interested in other ideas of mine about blogging here is a list with my blog community, you cand read or write an ideea on each of them.Don`t forget your opinion really matters.

There's a lot of information available about the overall health of us (in America). And things aren't looking so good. We, as a country, despite all the wealth and medical technology available, are among the world's unhealthiest people. How can this be?

First let me start by saying I'm not big on Western medicine in general; I tend to lean more toward Alternative medicine and prevention as opposed to 'fixing the symptoms'. So I read alot. I've practiced homeopathic medicine for over 20 years, with nary a glitch. I grow my own herbs to make tinctures and salves. I eat LOTS of garlic (a natural antibiotic). And I SEE myself as a whole, healthy person. In other words, I don't think about illness! I'm not saying that conventional medicine isn't valuable. It most certainly is. Broken bones and internal maladies are best treated with the help of MDs. But the thing is, more often than not, American doctors will treat the symptoms of a dis-ease long before they'll look for the CAUSE. (I make this statement in general terms. There are a great many very good doctors out there. It is NOT my intention to undermine their value!)

Recently I came across a couple of things that made me even more curious about the general state of our country's health. With all the talk about Health Care (or the lack thereof) and policy, there is equally as much talk about why it's such a 'hot topic' with our candidates. But I believe we're looking through this lense from a very warped perspective. What if we could start at home? What if, instead of blaming the government for the healthcare mess we're in, we opened up our refridgerators and had a look at the contents?

Our kids live on fast food and sugar. Many families don't even know what the term "dinner time" means. Sit down at the table together and share a healthy meal? Right. Parents are over-worked and out of time. They've got their kids enrolled in so many activities that most of them don't even see each other as a 'family' except on holidays. And forget about healthy meals in the schools. Those programs are long gone. It's up to parents to see to it that thier kids eat a healthy lunch. How often does this happen?

I've seen and heard teachers talk about how hard it is to teach because the kids are inattentive and jittery. Why? Because they didn't eat breakfast or if they did, it was filled with sugar, not fruit and grains. They eat twinkies for lunch and wash it down with some caffeine-filled beverage or an 'energy' drink. And don't get me started on the Latte thing!

Alas, I digress. The purpose of this entry is to pose food for thought. Let's start with "Self". The number one cause of most maladies in our society is STRESS. Stress has such a profound impact on our bodies that were we to eliminate it entirely, we'd have a fraction of the ailments we are now experiencing, from heart disease to cancer to depression to psychosis. And there are so many ways to alleviate stress, it makes me wonder why we don't all partake. We'd certainly FEEL better if we made these things a part of our daily lives. And think of all the good times we'd have if we never got sick! Start with "Self" and pass it on. Your kids will thank you for it (eventually)!

So, here are some things that are recurring themes in the medical community, whether it be traditional or alternative medicine. The majority of medical professionals agree on these simple practices:

1. MEDITATE: take some time EVERY DAY to sit quietly and calm yourself. Breathe deeply. Relax. Let go of all the day's 'STUFF' and just BE. 15 to 30 minutes is all you need. Do this for a week and see what happens! (Say goodbye to stress!)

2. EXERCISE: We've certainly heard this enough times to know it's a major factor in our health, both physical and mental. You don't have to run a marathon. Just get off your butt and walk for half an hour. Take in some fresh air. Look at the pretty trees (or flowers or whatever). Just get your heart beat up a bit and maybe even break a sweat. Does wonders for all sorts of things! Raises the metabolism. Also alleviates stress. Burns calories. Helps you sleep better. Keeps you from being so cranky. (actually too many benefits to name, but you get the idea)

3. EAT WELL: Again, pretty much a no-brainer. Lay off the fast food, fat foods, sugar-filled crap and buy some fruit! Prepare your meals instead of going out. Bake, broil, BBQ rather than fry. Drink water. Eat berries. Snack on carrots. You can still have your chocolate! Just make sure it has a high cacao content (60% or more) and is DARK (as opposed to milk) chocolate. It really IS good for you. Anti-oxidants and all that. Not to mention the fabulous-feeling hormones it produces. The point is, don't DIET. Just watch what you put in your mouth. Because if you eat it, you're going to WEAR IT. And the rest of your body (the parts you don't see) is going to pay for it too.

4. SLEEP: This is HUGE for us (Americans). Most folks in this country get an average of 5-6 hours a night. THAT IS NOT ENOUGH. 8 hours is the goal. 8 GOOD hours. We are a nation of sleep-deprived residents and it's taking it's toll in more ways than we can imagine. (Did you know that sleep-deprivation reduces your intelligence???? True, proven fact. It makes you stupid! Or at the very least, it diminishes your brain's ability to function at it's best.)

5. HAVE SOME FUN!: It's been proven over and over~ people who enjoy themselves, laugh often, dance, giggle, play, etc. live healthier, longer lives. Besides, we DESERVE it! If you were to sit down and map out your day from around 6 a.m. to around 10 P.M., I'd be willing to bet that you could find an hour to play. Turn off the TV. Put down the dreaded newspaper (it's all bad news anyway). Get off the couch. PLAY, for pete's sake!

If we were all to incorporate these 5 things into our daily lives, we'd all live much happier, healthier and longer lives. We'd have more vitality. We'd spread more joy. We'd fight less and love more. Am I a Utopian? You betcha. One thing I know for sure: it's made a WORLD of difference in MY life. What about yours?

It's Friday night, and you've been putting it off for a month. But on Monday, your child's science project is due. And you haven't even started. You need an easy science project that can be done quickly, but it has to be good...

It's not an easy thing to find! Science projects that are easy often don't meet the requirements of the teacher or the science fair. And projects that are fast often aren't enough to teach your child anything. We know. With four boys, our family has waited until the last minute to do a science project more than once. But the good news is that there really are good science experiments that can be done quickly and easily.

Here are some ideas for some easy science experiment projects:

• Which brand cereal stays crunchy longest? Weigh different brands of the same cereal, soak in water, and then weigh again to see which one absorbed more water.

• Which food is best for yeast? Place yeast and water mixtures into bottles, and give them different foods. Put balloons on top of the bottles, and see which one grows the biggest.

• Does salt affect the boiling point of water? Find the boiling point of water, and add salt to see if it changes.

• Which citrus juice has the most Vitamin C? Make an indicator solution with iodine and starch (it's EASY to do!), and test samples of citrus fruit or juice to see which one has the most vitamin C.

Here are some demonstration science projects that are easy to do:

• Demonstrate how chemical reactions can be sped up. Put alka seltzer into a cup, and watch it fiz. Then do it again with crushed alka seltzer, another time with warm water, and yet another time with TWO alka seltzers.

• Demonstrate how an egg can absorb moisture through the membrane by soaking the egg in vinegar until the shell comes off, then placing the egg into a cup of water. Then you can show how the water goes OUT of the egg by placing it into a cup of corn syrup!

These are all cool science projects that really are easy and fast to do. We think you'll like them, and that your teacher will like them, too!

(Note: We've done all of these science projects with our four boys, and they are easy to design on your own. Do an internet search for more information, or visit our website and find out how to purchase step by step instructions for each
